Cool Planet Technologies has constructed a 10,000 tonnes per year of CO2 capture plant with Holcim, a leading cement manufacturer, at their Höver cement works in Hanover, Germany. The plant will commence operation in 2026.

Scaling
Cool Planet Technologies is rapidly progressing scaling of its technology. From 10,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) in 2026 it is expected that a 100,00 tpa capture plant will be operational by 2029. This is the result of close collaboration between Cool Planet, our industrial partners and Cool Planet’s research and development partner, the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon institute.
