Cool Planet Technologies’ advanced membrane process offers a unique, flexible, scalable and environmentally friendly capture solution.

Our core strategy is to help companies meet their net zero commitments by significantly reducing the cost of removing carbon dioxide from their industrial flue gas emissions by designing, building and selling carbon capture solutions using our unique membrane-based process.

Over 40 years of international experience in pipe technology, manufacturing and production, corporate management, infrastructure design, development and financing in more than 90 countries. Extensive experience developing multinational business’ includes Director of Business Development Technocan International Ltd, Canada; Founder/ CEO of Africa Water Management Company, South Africa; President for International Operations of Saudi Arabian Amiantit Management and COO of the Hobas Group in Austria and Switzerland. Holder of several patents for the manufacturing of centrifugal and continuous filament winding of GRP pipes.

Alexander Rieder

Manufacturing Manager

Over 15 years’ experience with R&D projects and project management in the fields of water treatment technologies, biomedical engineering and renewable energies with special focus on efficient hydrogen production. Most recently he was working as a consulting engineer, supporting tax advisors and industry regarding R&D funding and beyond that engaging in basic research in the field of low energy nuclear reactions and hydrogen production. Alexander holds an MSc in technical physics from the Graz University of Technology and an MBA from the Vienna University of Technology.
